Citizen Men’s JW0030-55E Eco-Drive Promaster SST Titanium Watch

I go through watches like I go through socks…I have a drawer full of them…from Gucci to a Timex. I was looking for something that could really take a licking and keep on ticking. I saw this watch advertised in a magazine and checked in out online. The watch is beautiful. I just love the face and rotating slide-rule bezel. I’m a big NASCAR fan and just love the chronometer, 20 lap memory and average lap speed functions. It has world time for 43 cities which comes in handy since I live in the US and my kids live in Madrid Spain. Now I know exactly what time it is there without having to remember if they’re 8 hours or 9 hours ahead because this watch has a daylight savings time function. The crystal is non-reflective which is great on sunny days. The titanium case and bracelet are light and durable. Adjusting the bracelet to fit was a little beyond my capabilities but our local jewler had the right tools for the job and adjusted it in a jiffy to a perfect fit for $15. Setup was a breeze…didn’t even need the CD that comes with the watch. And last but not least…I’ll never have to replace another battery

I fell in love with this watch when I saw an ad for it on a big billboard. The watch face looks awesome. I immediately put it on my wish list and the very next day saw an Amazon third party seller (dexclusive) running a promotion for it for $418 (normal price is > $500). I did not hesitate to pull the trigger and order it.
I love big/complicated looking watches and this fits my nerdy needs perfectly. It even comes with a CD with an instruction manual (that’s how complicated it is!!). But I had no problems setting it up with the help of the quick-guide that comes in the box (I still haven’t opened the CD).
This particular item is all titanium based and, of course, it’s eco-drive so no need for batteries…ever.
I have uploaded 2 pictures that I shot of the watch in the product’s main page.
