I By Invicta Men’s 41704-001 Multi-Function Stainless Steel Watch
This is a great watch – if your arm is the size of a giant. It’s very heavy, and very nice looking – you can tell it’s great quality. But, the face of the watch is huge. Unless you have the arm the size of a small child, it’s going to be too big of a face.

The face of this watch is about 0.25″ larger than other large Invicta watches I have owned. The “I” series comes in a less dramatical presentation box, black & silver cardboard with the timepiece wrapped around a gray pillow. I guess I am just used to the bright yellow box used in the past. My biggest disappointment comes in the choice of metal bands that this timepiece uses. The process of removing links involves using a tool that presses the button within each link. This releases the link and you then have to pry them out with some work and a pair of pliers. I wish Invicta kept the pin release system as this is what I am used to and if you size your watches on your own, you may have a much more difficult time with this one. The metal clasp has quite a bit of adjustment in it…maybe Invicta wanted to make a watch for a number of different wrist sizes. I also like my clasps to sit directly in the middle of my wrist and because of the odd links and where they were placed on this watch, my clasp sits slightly off center of my wrist. This may be a bit paranoia, just my preference. Weight of the watch is not much more than the larger of the Invicata series. You probably won’t notice this too much. So if you like the larger watch faces and don’t mind the extra effort in resizing, this is a good timepiece and I would recommend it.

This is a nice-looking watch and it seems to be built very solidly, as it is quite heavy and has a good feel to it. The only problem I have with it is that it is absolutely HUGE. The watch is considerably larger than my Seiko Windward Kinetic watch and it just doesn’t look good on me, as I am of average size. This watch would be great for someone who is big/tall, but it will look odd on anyone under 6 feet tall or more.
I am also adding a picture of the watch in the pictures section so you can see a size comparison between this watch and the Seiko. I hope this helps people know what they are getting with this watch. It will be great if you are big enough for it.

Others complained about the size and weight of this watch, I find those to be two of the nicer features. I’m a big guy and this watch really feels substantial and sturdy. I really like it.
