Invicta Men’s 5249W Pro Diver Stainless Steel White Dial Watch

My taste runs to thin, more functional watches. EDIT: It weighs a ton. I’ve worn it a few times. I had to pay 10 bucks to get three links removed just to get it to fit. Though this happens often with watches, so not really a complaint. If huge bodied weighs a ton watches are your thing, then this watch is a bargain!
EDIT: Since I originally wrote this, I have a few more positive comments. The weight of it no longer bothers me, in fact I’ve grown to kind of dig it. It’s a swiss movement watch for $[...] dollars. A fantastic buy. I’ve grown to like the large watch face and larger numbers. So much so that I am thinking of buying another one as a gift. I would recommend this watch!

I purchased an Invicta Watch model #5249 from Amazon.com. I am happy with the size, look, and feel of the watch. My concern is with it functioning properly. After taking it off at night, the next morning it has stopped working, and the time on the watch is the time when I went to sleep. I thought is might be the battery, so I had that replaced at my watch repair shop that shortened the bracelet band for me. It still doesn’t work properly. It still stops at the time I take it off my wrist and go to sleep at night.
I have spent money for the sizing; then I’ve spent money for the new battery. I don’t want to spend another 25 dollars on shipping the watch to your repair facility. If I return my purchase to Amazon, then I’ll lose the money I’ve already spent trying to get the watch to work.
I’m looking for advice on what to do. I want to keep the watch, but I want it to work properly. My last resort will be to return the watch to Amazon.com and recoup my purchase price at least. Looking forward to hearing from you.

This is a nice watch definitely for the price. However, I did read a couple reviews such as condensation forming from just one swim and the pins connecting the watch to wristband bending. I dismissed these reviews and still got the watch and was happy for a week. When I wore it for a quick swim, there was some condensation that formed right away. I thought I could forgo that until the same day it fell off my wrist because the pin bent from me swinging my arms while walking. Definitely a nice watch for price, but consider getting a new wristband that will keep the watch on.
