Invicta Men’s 6621 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch
I purchased this Invicta watch for my husband for Christmas last year. After receiving it he had to take it in and have some links removed. It is a very big watch and he is 6’3″ and it was still big for him. After having it only a couple of months the pin popped out out the band and he had to take it in again and have the pin replaced. The watch is so heavy that the small pin that holds it in is not made good enough to hold the band in. He has had to do this 3 times within the past year! Just this last week it fell out again, seems that the band is so heavy that the the pin bends and then the band falls off. Trust me, he doesn’t abuse this watch because he is retired! He doesn’t want to take it in again because this time he lost the part that attaches the band with the pin. Now the watch is useless!

I am very picky about watches and I do own quite a few. I have owned an Invicta before and was quite happy with the build and quality but this model I can not be very excited about. First big flaw for me was the bezel. The bezel is knurled and and in my book, anything knurled is meant to be turned by hand, sadly the bezel does not rotate. The second big flaw is the pushers looked like the locking type and sadly again it is not, just looks like it. Markers are small and with the date. The other big draw back for me is the second hand, it is way too thin to be useful and all the hands are too thin to be practical for technical work that require timing. The plus side is the watch and band is very hefty and should survive most abuse and could double as a hammer. The movement is very nice smooth and accurate. All the markers and sweeps are very smooth and line up to zero consistently. I guess I’m being critical about a mechanical watch I paid under a $100 dollars for but I just hate something that tries to look like something it’s not.

This is an amazing watch for the price I paid on Amazon, over 80% off the retail cost. Having lived in China for so many years, I am actually still a little Leary that this might be a fake rather then the real thing.

If you are buying this only based upon the listed discount of 86%, than it will definitely disappoint you. The build quality isn’t that you would expect from retail $500 watch. In fact its feels like a retail $60 watch. Mine was also defective and i am returning it.

I had been eyeing this watch for awhile now, but the only thing that kept me from buying it were all the reviews regarding the bezel of the watch, and how it was mis-aligned with the 12 o’clock mark at the top. Small detail some would say, but nonetheless, it probably would have bothered me just enough not to like it. In addition, Amazon was out of stock and was only offering this watch through different vendors, so I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning it with a 3rd party involved.
Luckily, I was checking out this watch again and saw that Amazon had some in stock!! (3 to be exact..) So I went ahead and decided to make the purchase..Good thing I did too because they ran out the next day!
The package came, and to my relief, the bezel was ALIGNED!! It does have some play to it as other reviewers have mentioned, but otherwise, I completely LOVE the watch. It is rather heavy, but I like my watches that way. I consider myself to have small wrists, and had to remove 6 links to get it to fit correctly. But the end result was a very fine looking watch added to my small collection.
